Amigos de Animales’ mission is to provide low cost spaying and neutering of dogs and cats and to promote the general welfare of animals in Boquete and surrounding areas. To this end, we have sterilized over 30,000 animals since our inception in 2005. In addition to our monthly sterilization clinics, we travel to schools, neighborhoods and outlying communities to offer sterilization clinics, vaccinations and education to help increase knowledge about animal health and welfare. We also feed many animals ( both homeless and owned by local families) that otherwise would not get adequate nutrition.

We are an all-volunteer organization that depends on generous individuals like you to help reach our goal to sterilize 75% of the cats and dogs in our area and control the population of homeless and unwanted animals.
